font-size: 12pt;\"><a href=\"#ByeArt7\">Article VII \u2013 Bye-laws<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\"><a href=\"#ByeArt8\">Article VIII \u2013 Amendment in Constitution and Bye-laws<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"#reforms2026\">Constitutional Reforms 2026<\/a> passed by General Body Meeting on 16 August 2026 have been incorporated<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">CONSTITUTION<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a id=\"ConstArt1\"><\/a>Article I: NAME<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The society shall be called &#8220;Jabalpur Divisional Ophthalmological Society&#8221;.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The society shall hold its office at-IMA Building, Wright Town Jabalpur.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"#IndexConst\">(Back to Constitution Index)<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a id=\"ConstArt2\"><\/a>Article II: OBJECT<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The object of the society will be the cultivation and promotion of the study and practice of ophthalmology and to promote social contacts among the Ophthalmologists of Jabalpur Division:-<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Encouraging Scientific research and experiment work on ophthalmic problems.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Providing facilities for research and training of research work.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Holding scientific discussions and reading papers on Ophthalmology.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Establishing and maintaining reference library &amp; furnishing them with books, reviews, magazines etc. relating to Ophthalmology.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bringing the members of the Association, periodically together at meeting.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Holding properties moveable or immovable that may be necessary for the aforesaid objects to purchase, sell, and rent or mortgage the same for the purpose of the Society.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Receiving annual subscription from members, receiving donations from members as well as non-members hold the fund in trust for the advancement of science of Ophthalmology.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Co-operating with other associations of doctors Medical Profession.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Making rules for the society when necessary, inter alia relating to the discipline and professional conduct of members of the Society.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Taking such steps as may be necessary or <span style=\"color: #000000;\">conductive<\/span> to the objective of the Society.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"#IndexConst\">(Back to Constitution Index)<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a id=\"ConstArt3\"><\/a>Article III: MEMBERSHIP<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The membership of the society shall be <\/span>as follows <span style=\"color: #000000;\">:-<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a id=\"ConstArt3A\"><\/a>A. Regular Life Member (RLM):<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">An ophthalmologist possessing an MBBS and a postgraduate degree in ophthalmology, as recognized by the National Medical Council, and practicing or serving in Jabalpur City shall be eligible for Regular Life Membership of the society upon payment of the fee prescribed in the Bylaws.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">B. Associate Life Member (ALM):<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">An ophthalmologist fulfilling the criteria of RLM but practicing or serving outside Jabalpur City shall be an Associate Life Member of the society. An RLM shall be considered an ALM if he moves out of Jabalpur City.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">C. PG Member (PGM):<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Post-graduate ophthalmology students from recognized medical colleges can apply for PG membership. A fixed fee as prescribed in the Bylaws shall be charged. The PGM can convert to RLM or ALM on completion of post-graduation and award of degree certificate. If there is any difference in the fees paid for PG member application and RLM\/ALM fees, it has to be cleared on application.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">D. Honorary Life Member (HLM):<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">An RLM or an ALM who has turned 70 years of age shall be ratified by the General Body in its meeting as an Honorary Life Member of the society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"#IndexConst\">(Back to Constitution Index)<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a id=\"ConstArt4\"><\/a>Article IV: COMMENCEMENT OF MEMBERSHIP:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Membership of the Society will commence from the date of acceptance of his\/her application. A new member whose application is under consideration may attend and take part in the deliberations of a conference of the society but will not have right to vote till he is ratified by the General Body.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"#IndexConst\">(Back to Constitution Index)<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a id=\"ConstArt5\"><\/a>Article V: CESSATION OF MEMBERSHIP:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Membership of member form the society will cease:<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">By the voluntary resignation as from a specified date<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">A notice in writing to a member for unprofessional \/ unethical behaviour\/ conduct will served so that he can explain the situation to the Executive Committee at a pre- decided time if the Executive Committee decides by a 2\/3rd majority and the same is approved by the General Body. The membership of the member will be discontinued.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"#IndexConst\">(Back to Constitution Index)<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a id=\"ConstArt6\"><\/a>Article VI: RIGHTS OF MEMBERS<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">All regular life members (RLM)  in good standing shall be entitled as of right to participate in all activities of the Society including the right to vote and hold office in the society,<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">All associate life members (ALM), PG members (PGM), honorary life members (HLM) shall be entitled to participate in all activities of the society. <em>They shall not be entitled to vote at the meetings of the Society or hold office in the society<\/em>.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"#IndexConst\">(Back to Constitution Index)<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a id=\"ConstArt7\"><\/a>Article VII: GENERAL BODY<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Only Regular Life Members (RLM) shall constitute the General Body of the Society.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">It shall govern the affairs of the society through the elected office bearers and committees (the elected office bearers and various committees shall form the &#8220;General Council&#8221;).<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The General Body will meet annually<\/span> (The Annual General Body Meeting, AGBM).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Quorum: A minimum of 10% of the total regular life members (RLM) shall form the quorum for the AGBM.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Adjourned meeting: In case there is no quorum at the meeting the meeting shall adjourn for at least 15 minutes &amp; shall meet at the same venue. The adjourned meeting shall not require any quorum.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The Special General Body Meeting (SGBM) may be called by any of the following for a specific purpose.<\/span>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The President.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">On requisition signed by at least 2\/3rd members of the Executive Committee.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">On requisition signed by at least 15 regular members of the Society or 1\/5th members of roll whichever is less.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A notice of Annual General Body Meeting (AGBM) and its broad agenda shall be circulated to the RLM 15 Days in advance of the proposed date of AGBM. The Special General Body Meeting (SGBM) shall not require any advance notice period. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"#IndexConst\">(Back to Constitution Index)<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a id=\"ConstArt8\"><\/a>Article VIII: COMMITTEES:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a id=\"ConstArt8A\"><\/a>Executive Committee:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The affairs of the society shall be managed by the Executive Committee elected by the General Body.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The committee will consist of:<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>President<\/strong>: To be nominated by a GBM (for a term of two years)<\/span> by way of seniority<br><strong>Eligibility<\/strong>: Should have held an executive post in the past and at least 10 years as an RLM of good standing.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Vice Presiden<\/strong>t: To be elected by a GBM (for a term of two years).<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>General Secretary<\/strong>: To be elected by a GBM (for a term of 2 years)<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Joint secretary<\/strong>: To be elected by a GBM (for a term of 2 years)<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Treasurer<\/strong>: To be elected by a GBM (for a term of 2 years. Tenure of office may be extended by the executive)<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Chairman Scientific Committee<\/strong>: To be nominated by a GBM (post created in December 2019) (for a term of 2 years)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Chairman Website &amp; Information Technology<\/strong>: To be nominated by a GBM (post created in 2004 when the first website of JDOS was created) (for a term of 2 years. Tenure of office may be extended by the executive)<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Editor Proceedings<\/strong> (head of the Editorial Committee): To be nominated by a GBM (post created in 2025 GBM held on the 31st of Aug 2025)(for a term of 2 years)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Ex-officio Members<\/strong>:<\/span>\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">One <em>Immediate Past President<\/em><\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">One <em>Past Gen. (the number of members was increased from 2 to &#8220;up to 4&#8221; by a GBM held on the 31st of Aug 2025)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The President and the General Secretary shall be ex-officio members of the Committee.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h4 id=\"ITCOMMITTEE\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">IT &amp; Website Committee<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The IT &amp; Website Committee shall be headed by the Chairman IT Committee.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Chairman will nominate 2 eligible members from Regular Life Members to assist in the matters of the IT committee.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The President and the General Secretary shall be ex-officio members of the Committee.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Editorial Committee<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The Editorial Committee shall be headed by the Editor Proceedings.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Editor Proceedings shall nominate up to 4 eligible members from the Regular Life Members to assist in the matters of the Editorial Committee.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The President and the General Secretary shall be ex-officio members of the Committee.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"#IndexConst\">(Back to Constitution Index)<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a id=\"ConstArt9\"><\/a>Article IX: FUNCTIONS OF PRESIDENT AND VICE PRESIDENT<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The President will act on behalf of the Society and represent the society during his tenure. <\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The President shall regulate the proceedings of the society and the Executive Committee. <\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The President shall uphold the constitution and enforce the rules and regulations of the society and meeting of the General Body and the Executive Committee.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">In the absence of President the Vice President shall take all responsibilities of the President.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"#IndexConst\">(Back to Constitution Index)<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a id=\"ConstArt10\"><\/a>Article X: FUNCTIONS OF THE GENERAL SECRETARY \/ JOINT SECRETARY:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The General Secretary shall manage all correspondence and shall keep the minutes of the society and committee meetings which will be read and confirmed at the following meetings respectively. He shall have charge of the office &amp; keep register of all papers communicated to him. He shall be responsible to the Society for carrying out the resolutions of the Society. Executive Committee &amp; its functions <\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">It shall have power to invest and deal with the money of the society and to borrow such sums or money as it may resolve as tending to benefit the society.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Such money and properties of the Society as are not utilized for the objects of the society. May be invested in such manner in such Banks and in such a way as the Executive Committee may at their discretion think proper and the Executive Committee may charge the investments in order to better fulfill the objects of the society.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The Executive Committee will need a clear mandate from General Body to purchase, construct or acquire on lease or in exchange or on hire, by gift or otherwise, and real or personal property and any right or any privilege necessary or convenient for the purpose of the society and to improve, develop, manage, sell, mortgage, dispose off, turn to account or otherwise deal with all or any part of the property of the society not vested in the trust.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The Executive Committee may constitute sub &#8211; committees as it deems fit for furtherance of the objects of the Society<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Decisions and recommendations of the Executive Committee shall be subject to the approval of the General Body.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Meeting of the Executive Committee:<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The member of the executive committee shall meet at least once a year preferably last before the holding of the Annual Conference. 1\/3rd of the total number of members shall form a quorum.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The General Secretary shall circulate the agenda in advance before the holding of the Meeting.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The President, when present, shall preside at the meeting of the Executive Committee. In his absence the Vice President shall officiate for him. In the absence of the President &amp; Vice President the meeting may elect its own Chairman, and for the purpose of the meeting. He shall have all the powers of the President.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The President or Chairman in the event of tie will have casting vote.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The voting may be by show of hands or by ballot whichever is thought desirable by the President.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-dark-gray-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-2\">Whenever it is found inconvenient to call a physical meeting of the Executive Committee or the General Council and whenever the General Secretary deems it desirable that the opinion of the Executive Committee or the General Council be obtained, they shall do so by virtual conference and act in accordance with the views of the majority.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"#Byelaws\">(Back to Byelaws Index)<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">B. Scientific Committee &amp; its functions<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The Scientific Committee shall be headed by the Chairman Scientific Committee.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Chairman will nominate up to 4 eligible members from the Regular Life Members to assist in the matters of the Scientific Committee. The term of the members will continue as long as the Chairman Scientific Committee\u2019s term continues. At the end of the term a new pair of members may be selected even in the case of extension of the term of the Chairman Scientific Committee.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The President and the General Secretary shall be Ex-officio members of the Scientific Committee.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Scientific Committee shall have a free hand in framing the scientific program for the members of The Society. The Committee shall feel the pulse of the members and create a scientific program that interests the members of The Society.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Guest speakers may be arranged for scientific program with approval from the Executive Committee.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Scientific meetings may be in the form of e-meetings if required.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Publications \u2013 The Scientific Committee shall publish and distribute scientific newsletters or journals periodically. Sub-committees may be formed by the Chairman Scientific Committee for this purpose. The tenure of the sub-committee shall match the tenure of the Scientific Committee.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-vivid-cyan-blue-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-3 wp-block-paragraph\">*Note: The Scientific Committee was constituted by way of a resolution in a general body meeting in December 2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">C. IT &amp; Website Committee and its functions<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The Committee will be headed by Chairman IT Committee.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Chairman shall nominate 2 members from Regular Life Members to assist in the matters of the Committee.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The President and Secretary shall be ex-officio members of the Committee.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The committee shall be responsible for the contents of the Website and for the e-presence of the Jabalpur Divisional Ophthalmic Society (on social media, chat communities, etc.).<a id=\"ByeArt4\"><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">D. Editorial Committee and its functions<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The Committee shall be headed by The Editor Proceedings.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Editor Proceedings shall nominate up to 4 members from the Regular Life Members to assist in the matters of the Committee.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The President and Secretary shall be ex-officio members of the Committee.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Committee shall be responsible for all publications of the Society.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-4 wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"color:#0693e3\"><em>Note: The Editorial Committee was formed  by way of a resolution passed during the Annual General Body Meeting held in August 2025<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"#Byelaws\">(Back to Byelaws Index)<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">E. PG Teaching Sub-committee<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Its members will include one representative each from all the institutes in Jabalpur having Post Graduate formal training courses (MS\/DNB\/DO). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The representative should be proposed by the Head of the Department<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The representative should be a Regular Life Member of good standing of the Society. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The committee will work in coordination and guidance with and under the scientific committee and will work on raising the standards of postgraduate education and exposure.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Article IV: FINANCE:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Trust Account<\/strong>: It will be in connection with such donations as may be received from time to time deposited with society as trustees for the encouragement and improvement of the Standard of Original papers at the Ophthalmic Conference.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Reserve Fund<\/strong>: This will include the various fixed deposits.<\/span>\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Life Membership<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Fixed Deposit for various awards.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Funds saved after holding M.P. Ophthalmic conference.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The interest from the Fixed Deposit will be transferred to the General Account to be utilized for the specific purpose for which the fixed deposit has been made.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The Person in charge of the various accounts will submit the audited statement of expenditure to the Treasurer.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The Treasurer will than make a complete audited statement of the account to be put to the Executive Committee and then to the General Body each year.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The Treasurer will also prepare an annual budget of the Society and place it before the Executive Committee for approval. The budget as approved by the Executive Committee shall be placed before the General Body for final sanction.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The General Secretary may incur expenditure in unforeseen circumstances and not provided it the budget up to Rs. 1000\/- only and another Rs. 1000\/- with the written permission of the President When requires Rs. 1000\/- may be advanced to him\/her for preparation of Conference or for Executive meeting.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The Secretary will submit his\/her account to the Treasurer. Only 4 categories of members &#8211; RLM, ALM, PGM and HLM. Change in qualifying age for HLM &#8211; 70 years from 75 years earlier.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bylaws Article III. Committees &#8211; PG teaching sub-committee introduced to incorporate PG teaching institutes. Notice period generalized to &#8220;in advance&#8221; for calling executive committee meeting. Introduction of &#8220;Virtual meetings&#8221;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Constitution Article VII. General Body &#8211; Only RLM shall constitute the General Body of the Society.
